Each year, thousands of Kentucky student musicians take to the field with instruments and flags in hand to make music and to create something greater than themselves. This weekend marked the 31st annual State Marching Band Championships, which have been held at various venues throughout the Commonwealth (at UofL seven times, EKU five times, UK five times and at WKU fourteen times).
