2025 Conference Housing Info
Conference housing will be available in the Galt House and Hyatt Regency hotels. KMEA strongly recommends making room reservations by the first full week in January as the hotels have been known to fill up before the event.
Galt House
140 North Fourth Street, Louisville, KY 40202
The following all-state rehearsals take place at the Galt House:
- All-State Bands
- All-State Orchestras
- Kentucky Children’s Chorus
- Kentucky Junior High Chorus
- Intercollegiate Jazz
Housing information, payment procedures, and reservation forms for the Galt House are still being determined.
Payment overview
1. The Galt House Hotel no longer accepts POs for payment. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.
2. Credit cards may also be used as final payment or checks may be presented prior to or at the time of check-in.
3. Payment must have been received in full by check or credit card in order to check in.
4. We do not expect the Galt House to honor the KMEA rate after any unused rooms in the KMEA room block are released on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Galt House Reservations
For Single and multiple rooms: The housing procedures have changed as compared with previous years. You cannot call for a reservation in the KMEA block—you have to use the online portal. Within the registration system, please carefully read the documents linked from the right sidebar.

- All-State High School Choir Rehearsals next door and accessible via pedway and parking structure
Hyatt Regency Faxed or Emailed Reservations (only for All-State)
Single School All-State Choir Housing Form [CLOSED – hotel at capacity] – contact the Galt House for additional lodging
- Schools that are not sharing rooms with other schools should use the linked form to arrange for lodging at the Hyatt Regency.
- Schools can book multiple rooms as a room block using the Single School Housing form. One form should be used for all rooms reserved.
- Schools wishing to share rooms MUST complete the Multiple School Housing Survey.
Hyatt Multiple School Shared Housing
Multiple School All-State Choir Housing Registration [CLOSED]. If the hotel reaches capacity the form will close early.
Schools that are sharing rooms with other schools should complete the above-linked housing survey for lodging at the Hyatt Regency. When partnering with other schools, all schools must complete the form. You can check form responses here.

List of Schools Wanting to Share All-State Housing
Schools wishing to share housing must arrange for this with other schools prior to making hotel reservations or submitting housing forms. Directors may wish to access the All-State rosters as they become available on the KMEA website to determine whether other schools may have uneven numbers of male of female students that would fill out incomplete rooms. Due to time constraints, the KMEA office staff cannot assist with the search for other schools to pair with.
