Band:
| After
another successful round of events during 2006 and 2007,
the fourth district band directors met in February and March
to discuss future events for the 2007-08 school year. Matt
Baucum, band director at East Hardin Middle School, was
elected as the next Band Chair for 4th District. The dates
and events are as follows: |

Chorus:
| The
4th District Choral Directors Association will host its
annual summer meeting later in June. Specific information
regarding all-district dates, all-state chorus auditions,
and other pertinent information will be discussed at that
time. A detailed schedule will be given to directors at
a later date. |
General
Music / Elementary:
| Plans
are again under way in organizing the all-district treble
chorus for the 2007-08 school year. The chorus will generally
consist of students in grades 4,5,6 and will be recommended
by their music or general music teachers. The tentative
date for this event is scheduled for Saturday, September
22nd. |
