Elementary:

Elementary Report---Juanita Nelson
This year, KMEA District 6 elementary schools held another successful Northern Kentucky 5th/6th Grade Honor Choir concert with conductor, Mrs. Cynthia Gray .

There were 171 participants from seven Northern Kentucky counties representing 32 public, private, and parochial music programs.

Middle School Instrumental:

Middle School Instrumental---Bill Kidwell, chair
Middle school solo and ensemble festival was held at Campbell County Middle School and had 402 scheduled events. Judges were very complimentary of the level at which the students performed.

The middle school concert band festival was held on May 20/21st at NKU. 23 middle school bands participated from district 6. The Scheduled date was March 9/10, but was postponed due to snow.

Dr. Ann Porter was guest conductor for the middle school Select Band in March. The select band consisted of 114 students grades 6-8.
Middle School Solo & Ensemble Festival Sat. April 24 @ Campbell Co. Middle School. around 400 events.
Judges - Mallory Draughn, Shelia O'nan, Robin Barker, Chad Sheridan, Matt Chandler, Debbie Brown, Tyler Andrew, Brian Brown, Josh Mallory, Duane Gutzwiller, Dean Marotta.

Middle School Concert Band Festival Thursday-Friday May 20-21 @ NKU. 30 Bands
Judges - Tanya Bromley, Kevin Bowling, Eric Allen, Mike Mannerino

Middle School Choral:

The District 6 Middle School Honor Choir was held at Campbell County High School on March 5th. The honor choir had students from 12 schools with a total of 143 students participating.
Dr. Pat Freer was the conductor.

Next year's honor choir will be the first Friday in March.

High School Choral:

High School Vocal---Erin Core-Stine, chair
Northern Kentucky University Honor Choir will be Sunday November 7, Monday November 8 and Tuesday November 9th. The event will be held on the campus of NKU this year.
